When Comfort Matters Most,
Our Hospice Care Delivers
Other than clinical excellence, Bondage Valley hospice service incorporates a stringent sense of compassion. Care plans are drawn up according to end- of -life guidelines developed by the NICE and are reviewed on a weekly basis by a multidisciplinary team consisting of palliative consultants, pharmacists, social workers and spiritual advisors.
In addition to the professional symptom control, we are interested in moments that matter: making sure that clients listen to favourite music, tell the stories to grandchildren or sit in the garden on a sunny afternoon. On completion they have adequate training on safe manual handling, Syringe-driver checking and emotional coping measures so that they feel secure until the next professional visit to the family.
Dignity is the core of all actions, including the small things, such as a personal approach and cautious infection management, as well as large things, such as letting everybody spend his or her last weeks or months in the comfort of his or her home, with his or her people he or she loves and remembers.
