01. The Challenge & Solution
Diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer and severe anxiety, Mr Choudhury feared dying in hospital. Bondage Valley’s Comfort Hospice-Care brought two palliative nurses daily, a portable syringe driver and virtual reality (VR) relaxation therapy.

02. Working Process
Rapid set-up – oxygen concentrator, anti-decubitus mattress, anticipatory medication bundle delivered within 12 hours.
VR sessions – five-minute guided meditations twice daily using lightweight headset.
Breathlessness crisis pack – fan, handheld nebuliser, emergency morphine drops at bedside.
Weekly family circles facilitated by counsellor, recording legacy messages.
03. Perfect Result
Anxiety scale (HADS-A) fell from 18 to 8.
Only one unscheduled GP call in final month.
Mr Choudhury died peacefully at home, listening to VR seaside sounds, with family present.
